TREE PLANTATION 2020-2021

On the occasion of VAN MAHOTSAV WEEK which is celebrated from 1st July to 7 July to spread awareness of forest conservation and to save the environment, Taywade college of Pharmacy organized a tree plantation programme on 6 ^th July 2021.The event notice was circulated on 5th July 2021.The programme was started at 12:30 pm with opening speech of Principal, Dr C A Doifode. He gave his valuable speech on the needs to plant trees. In his speech he mentioned how deforestation is harming the environment and the ill-effects of degradation everywhere in the world and global warming. After the speech, teaching, non-teaching staff and students were given the spades, bucket and plants. Then they planted the saplings in front Maine gate of college premises and watered them. This programme spreads message “PLANT TREES TO SAVE LIVES”, “A TREE HAS A THOUSAND LIVES”. They selected the empty places on the road sides to plant saplings in a well-organized way. In order to restore the eco-balance of the afforestation drive was taken. All the participants were highly enthusiastic to make it a big success.  The programme came to end with vote of thanks by NSS programme officer Mr Kamlesh A Machewar . The office staff and other dignitaries appreciated our each and every attempt .This tree plantation programme created a great enthusiasm among the staff and students. At the end of tree plantation programme the staff took oath that they take care of saplings and should not cut tree ruthlessly.
