INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY
A Report on International Literacy Day Conducted on 11/09/2021. Taywade college of Pharmacy Koradi Nagpur. In collaboration with Taywade institute of diploma in Pharmacy and Gram-Panchyat office Ghoghali under National Service Scheme (NSS) has organized a on the eve of “International Literacy Day” on 11th September 2021. Since 1967, International Literacy Day (ILD) celebrations have taken place annually around the world to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society. Despite progress made, literacy challenges persist with at least 773 million adults worldwide lacking basic literacy skills today. The aim of the this activity is to educate the people and empower them. With this motto, the NSS UNIT of Taywade college of Pharmacy Koradi and Taywade Institute of Diploma in pharmacy Koradi comprising of about 30 students has organized Literacy awareness program . For the awareness of literacy in the rural area. In current world higher education is basic requirement to attain job and knowledge. The volunteers effectively explained about different options available in the worldwideOn the occasion of “International Literacy Day” observed various activities to give an insight on the fact that “Literacy is a human right and the basis of all knowledge.” In this program we are giving the Photo frame as a token of love to the Gram Pnachyat office Ghoghali.
