AIDS DAY Awareness program
In a dignified way World AIDS Day has been celebrated at Taywade College of Pharmacy on December 01/12/2021, organized by the I.Q.A.C. Cell and NSS unit of the College. The programmed started at 03:20 pm. with the inaugural speech of Mrs. Geeta Lodhi, Coordinator, I.Q.A.C. Cell, who stated the importance of this celebration and observation of this day.
Chief Guest Dr. C.A. Doifode , Principal Taywade College of Pharmacy addressed the students and gave a very relevant speech on AIDS, HIV and causes of them, symptoms and ways to cure them. His speech included various ways how a youth can protect the society through awareness and prevention.
The positive sign was the students’ including the NSS Volunteers concentration and eagerness towards the problems caused by AIDS. To stay safe from this deadly disease.
Mr. Kamlesh A Machewar NSS Incharge and Mrs.Geeta Lodhi I.Q.A.C. In-charge delivered the concluding speech and appealed the students to stay aware and spread awareness among people and lead a safe healthy life. For the said program Mrs. Deepika Kalode Head of women’s grievance Committee .Assistant Professor Ms. Harsha Sonaye, Mrs.Sneha Arkhel, Mrs. Priti Dongre. Mr. Lalit Pund training and placement officer and other Members of Teaching and Non-teaching staff were participated in the Prgramme. Students from B.Pharm and D.Pharm were present in the Programme.
